It was looking like a fantastic weekend ahead at Glenbawn Dam, with great weather forecast for the three days. The only downside was the afternoon winds, which seemed to make their way back towards the boat ramp every day!

Tournament Results,
There was plenty of action on the water, with an impressive 616 Australian bass caught and released over the weekend.
A further 100 European carp were removed from the lake, helping to do our bit for the health of the fishery.
A total of 86 anglers representing 8 clubs competed in the Newcastle SFC Tournament.
Congratulations to Wollongong SFC, who took out the tournament honours and also managed to clean up in the raffles!
There was more good news for the Seabees, with Sammy Schembri taking home the lucky door prize, which included a brand-new single swag. Congratulations, Sammy!
A Great Weekend All Round!
A big congratulations to everyone who attended, competed and helped make the weekend such a success.
Great company, plenty of fish, a bit of friendly competition and lots of laughs along the way. That’s what fishing club weekends are all about!
Well done to everyone involved, and we look forward to the next one.
Tight lines everybody.
CB 25
Ronald.
